Mary Kay Siren, ESQ | Attorney

Mary Kay is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she also received her undergraduate degree, M.A.T., and PhD. Prior to joining Lowcountry Legal Volunteers, she practiced family law with Bowers & Siren in Estill, SC, for ten years. After the firm opened a second office in Bluffton, SC, she continued to practice family law and real estate law in Bluffton.  Having lived in a small, rural area for most of her life, Mary Kay knows firsthand the limitations that can arise from economic and financial struggles.  Based on her background and personal philosophy she is committed to helping others restore balance in their lives through providing legal representation, guidance and hope for a better tomorrow.

Mary Kay was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1989 and joined Lowcountry Legal Volunteers in January 2021, after more than thirty-two years in private practice. She has been a member of the Alljoy Beach Preservation Committee in Bluffton, SC, is a Mission Partner in the Peace Corps, and supports the RFK Human Rights Organization.

Mary Kay lives in Bluffton, SC and is proud to serve the Lowcountry.
