Please review our current qualifying income guidelines to see if you may qualify for our services and then either email us or call us to begin the process of becoming a client.

To be eligible for our services, you must be a resident of one of the following counties: Beaufort, Hampton or Jasper and meet our qualifying income guidelines.

We serve in the following areas of law: adoption, child custody, visitation, child support, divorce, name changes, simple consumer matters, eviction actions, lease termination, non-refund of security deposits, simple wills and probate.

No. Due to limited resources, we typically do not take same-day appointments. However, certain emergencies, subject to approval by a Supervising Attorney and appointment availability, may be permissible in rare circumstances.

Yes. During your initial call to our office please be sure to request our bilingual paralegal. Also, if you are pre-qualified for an initial appointment with one of our attorneys we will be sure to schedule it when our bilingual paralegal can be present at your meeting.

Yes. While we cannot make recommendations as to the attorney you should hire, one of our volunteers or members of our legal team will provide you with a short list of names (based on your needs) if you do not qualify for our services. We also refer individuals to the South Carolina Lawyer Referral service and other nonprofit agencies appropriate for your needs.
