Our Endowment
The Lowcountry Legal Volunteers Endowment Fund is a restricted fund established with contributions from donors just like you. Our endowment includes both donor-restricted funds invested in perpetuity and unrestricted funds designated by our Board to function as endowment. Our endowment is invested through The Community Foundation of The Lowcountry with a portion of our endowment earnings distributed annually to support our operations, services and programs according to certain restrictions with all earnings in excess of this board-approved distribution continuing to build the endowment’s market value.
For every $2 dollars you give, Community Foundation of the Lowcountry will donate $1 dollar to the Lowcountry Legal Volunteers Endowment Fund. This generous matching opportunity is for the first $50,000.00 raised.
