Our endowment includes both donor-restricted funds invested in perpetuity and unrestricted funds designated by our Board to function as endowment. Our endowment is invested through The Community Foundation of The Lowcountry with a portion of our endowment earnings distributed annually to support our operations, services and programs according to certain restrictions with all earnings in excess of this board-approved distribution continuing to build the endowment’s market value.
